Ghostbusters is heading to the iPhone, Sony Pictures just announced that Ghostbusters: The Video Game will be joining the Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3 in June. Will be interesting to see how the developers use iPhone’s accelerometer to it’s advantage.

Wanna see what kind of game play is involved in Ghostbusters? C’mon you gotta be a little bit curious right? We’ll your prayers has been answered cause this is a 6 minute clip of the soon to be release Spanish demo version. The graphics and game play looks top notch. Ghostbusters: The Video Game coming out on June 19 2009 on just about every platform.

Variety reports that Alyssa Milano voice will in the upcoming Ghostbusters video game. Her character voice will be Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn. It’s really nice to get big stars involved in this project but I could really care less if Sigouney Weaver or Alyssa Milano lends their voice, who the hell knows what Sigourney’s voice sounds like anyways.

Atari spilled some information on what multi-player will be like on the Ghostbusters.
Two Co-op modes:
Play as any of the four original Ghostbusters Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore. You can also play as the single player character known as the “Rookie”.

Terminal Reality, the company behind the upcoming Ghostbusters: The Video Game engine will be meeting with developers behind closed doors at the DICE Conference which is held in Red Rock, Nevada.
The game engine is called “Infernal Engine” and it’s compatible with all next-gen consoles, and will be able to take full advantage of the next-gen hardware.

The folks over at SCI Wire caught up with the creators of Ghostbusters: The Video Game at this year’s New York Comic Con. Ghostbusters: The Video Game was written by Dan Aykroyd (Ray) and Harold Ramis (Egon) and is due in stores on June 16 2009.

Atari was recently showing off some new Ghostbusters footage at New York Comic Con. Check out this new trailer for Ghostbusters: The Video Game which is due out June 16 on just about every single platform on earth.

According to Dan Aykroyd, Ghostbusters the video game which Atari took over will be released in about a year. That’s from an interview he did on a local radio station. The game was supposed to be released this fall and now we have to wait another year for this game to be released, such a sad day.
